many demons were stirring,
poor Isaac far from complacent.
The items were scattered in caves carelessly,
in hopes that Mom would soon stop chasing me.
Her knife, which hovered right 'bove my head
barely scraped my bald scalp as my other wounds bled.
And momma in her gown, and me hiding naked,
"God" told her to kill me. Is nothing sacred?
When down in the depths there screeched out a sound
I dove through the hatch to see what I've found.
Away from my bedroom, still running from mom,
tore open a hole in the wall with a bomb.
The firelight shone on a dark two-horned beast
gave me offers he would not soon repeat.
When, what to my tearful eyes should appear
but Guppy, my cat! He was dead... but he's here!
With a flash and a bang, so blinding and loud,
Sold my soul to the devil, wouldn't momma be proud?
More rapid than heartbeats, the womb pulsed with warmth
the monsters and demons, in large numbers they swarmed.
"Isaac!!" my mother shrieked from outside,
The fetus within just sat there and cried.
To the basement, the caves, the womb, and the depths!
I couldn't take anymore, I climbed into the chest!
As mothers should unconditionally love their sons,
I got the crazy, knife-wielding one.
