Superior ward vs reg ward

I don't see much of a difference that warrants the superior to be 9.9k nx *only gives up to 7 stars* vs the regular ward which is up to 12, and half the price?

Tyrant (among the other ones I don't really care about) equips are superior and you can't use normal wards on them.

If I recall, you can't use normal wards on "superior" items. It's just a means of getting more money out of your pocket, that's all.

The stat gains for enhancing "superior" items are insane though compared to regular equips.
