6% all stat vs 12% dex earrings

this morning I was browsing the fm and found a pair of 12% dex earrings for fairly cheap and decided to buy them. I figured that they would be better than my current 6% all stat earrings by a considerable amount. upon equipping them, I found that my range actually went DOWN. could anyone please explain to me why this occurs?

Check all your equips, it seems to me that something is probably getting un-equipped. You have less DEX with 12% DEX than 6% DEX, which shouldn't happen.

I have all of my normal equips on when I switch earrings. the only thing im losing is the 6 dex from the 6% stat pair.

When you equipped them, you somehow lost 36 STR. Something must have gotten unequipped is my guess. If you've got something which requires around 160 or so STR, that might be what's getting unequipped.

Since your HP and MP went down, an Empress equip, I assume your hat, must have gotten unequipped since you do not have enough STR to support it.
Take off your Cash equips to see which, exactly, equips got cancelled out.

its probably an earring from that time potential got glitched 12%dex was probably +12dex
