Character Card system: Powerful Charge - 3 warrior card set
#1
Hello Fellow Maplers,

I've been looking everywhere and i can't find anything relating to this topic to clarify my questions.

Could someone help me clarify the 3 card warrior set? The way I interpret this is the more HP you have the

higher you range goes up according the the rank of the card; B, A, S, SS: 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%.

First:
Has anyone tried this set up? Do you notice any difference?

Second:
If you apply HB does you range also get affected or is it just your base max HP?

Firstly, your questions were already answered in the Character card System thread, it the very first post.

Quote:Q: What does "hp/mp to damage" do, anyway?
A: Take a percent of your base HP, add it to the damage range.

So it's just your base max hp.

Quote:

WarriorPowerful Charge4%6%8%10%hp to damage

And after lots of testing in the character card thread, there is a difference, but the bonuses aren't that great. Read the thread for more.

Also: Little questions like these should go in the Maple Q&A section next time Wink

looking at that wording, that should be changed, since i wish it added to damage range, but as said on the thread, it only adds to your end damage.

It is added to the visible damage range, but that range is no longer an accurate representation of skills. :/

I just call it "Fake Range". Not really a fan of it though.

Really? I thought people like this system.
I have my self a set of 3 warriors +120 (A paladin with it) and the other set are just randoms +120.
With all these bonuses all my characters get at least +1200 range. Which is pretty nice for me.
When the revamp hits I'll get a bucc to 120 to get another little boost.

People liked it until the details were found out that they only add to FINAL DAMAGE and not RANGE, which made their usefulness extremely lackluster when compared to other sets / class bonuses.

Currently the massive HP/MP bonus is the main set bonus I care about... 2000+ hp on very low level characters is hilarious, and enough MP to use any pot I want is good too.

So I'm actually getting that range because of the +3 atk bonus from both decks and paladin bonus...
I guess I'll just switch to Adventurer bonus then...
