Fonts... Again
#1
Alright well I've had enough of this. I've tried doing it in the registry and for some reason my computer and maple always just switches to default Calibri or Times New Roman or whatever the "default" is. (NOT Arial - I would notice if it was Arial) and well, what am I supposed to do?

I had a Word file up right next to maple and typed my Characters name in both and there is a definite difference. (The one in Maple looks like default (Not arial) )

Im trying to use Century Gothic.

Doesn't really matter at this point as I just found out every font basically put it back to default. This is also in web browsers too.

How can I rename a font in Windows 7? Sad

Regedit is annoying having to restart my PC every time. Anyone know?

Pink Bean; uses Century Gothic. I'm not sure how she did it, though.

Find the default (I swear I did it with Arial) font in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts\

Double click the font so it opens the window with all the different types (bold, etc)

Find the detault one cut + paste it somewhere you can find it later.

Change your desired font to the name of the font (right click > properties > change the name to Arial.TTF or whatever it is).

That SHOULD work.
