Duping Hits kMS?

They don't (it would be "didn't" now, I guess) check whether or not you're using an actual KSSN (as in, registered to someone), they just check it's validity using the rules that dictate how a KSSN is formed. As long as it's valid mathmatically, you can make an account with it, provided that the rest of your info matches, birthday, gender, etc.

yea I'm aware that kssn generators don't work anymore, and that's not what I'm talking about.

Registration no longer requires a parent KSSN to be valid so it's very easy now.

That "KMS is better than GMS" shroud is starting to fade, is it?

Not really, there's still a huge difference between KMS vs GMS and all you have to do is browse their FM once to see it. They might have hackers (which is good for what, farming items and getting like 10-20m meso loots a day per character maybe), but we had lengthy periods of meso exploits and duping.

Nexon didn't even do anything about the meso that flooded the server due to SSS duping, nor do I think they did anything about that coin exploit from the item generating hack recently. All they did was remove SSS and the exchange quest for it, so all that bad meso is still in game. But at least they're slowly picking up the pace by removing a lot of over duped stuff such as scrolls.
