Aran's gender isn't defined, but I lean more to believe he is meant to be a guy. The same for Evan although it somehow works much easier for him

It's because there's not as many ways you can make short hair look interesting.

So the art is great and all that. (Cept for Mercedes)
But seriously... I couldn't understand what happened half of the time. Maybe is my lack of imagination but it seems like some panels are missing. Maybe Nexon didn't pay him enough to draw some more panels.
Therefore, didn't like it.

Though the plot is unclear, artwork is enough for me.

I think they keep on switching Aran's gender around so that they can make the Pirate Legend female, and thus, have gender equality amongst the Legends.
