How many people are actually online in Maple?

/inb4 someone points out that registered users != concurrent users.

UMaple had 17938 Unique characters. Not 17938 Concurrent Users. I bet they only had around 1k users on at any given time.

Why is everyone surprised? GMS was never that big and 21k online during school time is still pretty good. Everyone remembers that about 80% of the people who play this game are still in school right?

They should just remove a lot of the worlds that they have. Give us like, 4 worlds total, two being east-coast based and the other two west-coast. They could add in a form under the account settings on the website to allow a person to pick which characters go to which worlds. If a person doesn't pick the worlds they want their characters on before they do this server cleanup, they won't be able to log in until they do. Also, they would have to give like a months notice before doing said thing.
It's too bad that they wouldn't listen to this idea.

I was actually just thinking that...can we compare to JMS/KMS's peak hours? Is the game completely dying, or is it just GMS because of their lack of action/fixes?

I always thought MS was a "big" MMO with a lot of people always online. This numbers are pathetic.
Think about it:
50 ~ 400 botters. 50 Gold Sellers Advertisers. 200 ~ 800 players selling at their stores.
How many players are REALLY playing? Oh gawd.
Another reason to not come back to that game.

But hey! If they start releasing REAL content, maybe it won't happen as fast as we expect. When was the last time they released actual content in KMS? Empress? Maybe Aswan if you want to count that, but it wasn't really that much.

Seeing this, I want to know how many people are in each world in other maplestorys. Zenith in KMS probably has 3k people on alone lmaoo.
