Do you want another server, Pre-BB?
#1
I think Nexon will make lots of money and bring more old players back if Nexon brings a Pre-BB server. What do you guys think?

If you guys think it is a bad idea, at least it's much better than releasing MapleStory 2.

This is not a poll.

And no, It wont. Nexon makes more money drawing in newer people than trying to cater to older people.

Releasing a new game called MapleStory 2 will be a dreadful WoW clone. There's nothing special about MapleStory 2, except boring gameplay. At least making a Pre-BB server will satisfy old players for MapleStory.

I think it's a good idea for those who complain about how easy leveling is, but personally, I wouldn't use it Tongue

My god kid, let's get the juicy center of this.

This is a personal decision with selfish intentions specifically for you, only. Releasing a previous version of a maplestory server is not progression it's clinging on limitations. You have no legitimate reason to bring it back, all of your reasons are quickly made useless because they are opinion's not facts.

Why should Nexon focus on satifying old players?

Since you can see into the future, mind sharing lottery numbers? MapleStory2 will likely be s'hit like the original, yeah, but you state it as if you're 110% sure.

Because old players seem to know alot more about Maple, and no one would want to play MapleStory where leveling isn't an accomplishment anymore. Getting to 200 is way too easy now.

pretty much this. the only pre-bb thing they need to use is... the way to work on patches and events

updates now are kinda predecible... everytime, and I'M pretty sure everyone know what i mean

maybe he refers to the "maplestory 2" image that was posted this year
if we're talking about that image I'll just try the game, but not play like I do with maplestoryMonocle

old people know=/= actual people buy
I mean if they make that server pay 2 play I think I would not see "old maplers" playing it
the actual point of maplestory as someone said... is try to get many 200 as you can that's what nexon is trying to promote at this moment

What does knowing about Maple have to do with caring about them? You seem to assume that Nexon actively tries to help its players, when in fact, They are more focused on profits. The old players become smart and realize they shouldn't spend as much on NX, while the new players are easier to fool and can be persuaded easily to buy NX. Leveling never was an accomplishment, Even pre-bb, it was bascially how much time you decided to waste on this game. Now its not as bad because you dont have to spend 5 months to get to max level. If Nexon created more end-game content this would be a non-issue.

I think it'd be a nice change. I'd make a secondary character there but not my main

Leave the troll alone! All he wants is to hide under his bridge and mutter imaginations to himself.

Are you an old player because you know nothing about maplestory evidently. I can almost gurrantee most, if all players would come back, no hesistation if they did the following things, none of which are making a seperate server;

1) In game gm presense with basic knowledge of the game to help regulate exploits.

2) Level 200 content. In fact focused on high level content so that players are still enjoying the game without the experience gain.

3) Lowering the dependency on NX. Although that's a stretch I think making cubes accessible through in game content would be a huge plus on maplestory

4) Fix the memory leak.

5) Stop providing class revamps as patches. These are changed throught he most easy string adjustments ever. Actually add content, not new ways to play old content, which you are suggesting mind you. It's rehashing, and leaves the players fickle.

I can gurrantee if 5 of those things were implemented that the game would have a surge of popularity that the "Facebook" likes could be justified.
