Trade Hack
#1
One of the most, can't find the right word, fantasized(?) about hacks among all scammers was released.
The only good thing that does come from it, is I believe both players in end up getting the item back. However there are a few things they can get away with using this glitch.

An actual trade hack used to exist but was extremely private, and is currently patched (that I know of)

can you elaborate a bit on what the trade does?

not how to do it, but...

"if someone asks you to show him X item you have, he can make you accept trade involuntarily" or something like that.

Woah, Is this really true?
I presume next patch is gonna get delayed to fix this then.

No.
It's kind of like a bait and switch.
The trade takes place normally. Say you put in 50m for my item. We both accept the trade but you lose 50m and I kept the item.

This is more of a troll for people who don't know what they're doing. If you have a brain, you can't really get scammed.

Also, I'm pretty sure the item generating hack was patched as well.

Don't think so. Empress was summoned today using it in Scania.

So there's a trade hack as well?... :/

I asked about that earlier and it was stated to still be available.

I fucking hate how the maple community adheres to hearsay. It drives me nuts. Not you specifically, I mean people in general.

i dislike that they take words as "fact" without even trying to figure out if the source is reliable or not

i wasn't really goin by the guy on basil nor the "guy" who you're probably talking about who said it was on the other site. i was going by someone who knows a little more lol, for example
 Spoiler

ill change the title, or a mod can just close this considering the actual "release" was deleted
i guess Nexon doesn't really care, they probably think they did enough by fixing roll backs involved with duping :B

it's basically a packet that, when sent, gives the appearance that you accepted the trade to the other person

This isn't a trade hack. In fact, I believe nothing actually comes out of it, as it returns an error message.
