Everything Crashes When MS Is Opened
#1
Hello,

After finally getting MS to work again, I'm having this problem. Whenever I open MS, msnmessenger, itunes, firefox, everything crashes and I can't open them even if I am on window mode. I am on Vista, BTW and I tried setting it to XP compatibility mode but that doesn't work either.

No

If you are still on a 64bit OS I think that's the problem. I would get a 32bit OS, it should fix your problems and leave you with less problems in the future.

I've had this system for a month and a half and I didn't experience this problem before.

BTW, I have 4GB RAM. Everything runs smoothly, but somehow MS is always giving me problems.

I assume you reinstalled Vista right? Try updating the graphic driver, although I doubt that's the problem.

Nah, I didn't reinstall Vista. It fixed itself... lol.

Wow, those were some amazingly... um... amazing suggestions you got there. :f6:

I'm glad your problem went away, otherwise the next advice might have been to burn down your house.

And then do the inverted rain dance.

But it fixed itself? The computer may have installed some update for Vista which solves the problem for you.

Or, a server check might have changed something to fix this.
