360 games

My fiance and I decided to treat ourselves to a new xbox 360. It came with Halo and Fable 3. I'm not really familiar with xbox since before this I've only had a wii. What are some game recommendations you guys can give us to check out. We like the Halo series and we like to take our anger out on aliens and monsters. We're looking to check out that Alice Returns game, but don't know of any others really to check out. Zombie killing games are definitely welcomed as well =)

The arcade on the Xbox is amazing. You honestly can just wander in, find a few games for $10 each, and have a great time with each for a pretty reasonable price.

Wait until the Kinect drops in price and pick one of them up. It has so much potential not explored yet.

Also, get the first 2 Fable games before touching 3. I've heard 1 is good but I've only got 2. 2 is amazing.

Assassins creed games are great
Friend says Skyrim is amazing, you can probably get 200 hours in it because there is so much
Portal 1 and 2 is a must amazing games.
Wont mention any FPS' and berzerk pretty much hit a lot of them, have fun!

Whatever you do, don't get Team Fortress 2 for the XBox.

Thanks guys for the replies. And yea Myles, since we have a wii, we're pretty much waiting for the kinect to go down. We decided to go for the 250gig bundle with no kinect since a lot of the games didn't appeal to us right now.

I've heard of most of those games except for Team Fortress. So, I'm sure we'll be checking a lot of these out! Thanks again. More suggestions welcomed.

Also, is gamefly worth it?

I heard its good but I dont use it myself, personally I would get borderlands or dead island first, easy and fun to play with your fiance(if you have a budget limit) if youre gonna go solo games then I'd get skyrim first, or portal if you don't feel like playing Skyrim for 200 hours right off the bat.
