How do you type?

I leave my fingers at the home row and type as such, I don't really need to look at the keyboard other then when I am on a laptop, because them keyboards on laptops or otherwise cannot make up their minds on button placement and move certain keys around.

STICK TO THE DAMN STANDARD!

I peck with mostly 4 fingers, 65~70 wpm.

Trying to change to the proper way has proved boring some 5 times.

Where's Khoi with that that 80 wpm hunt and peck?

Touch type (so I guess "proper"). Not completely perfect, since my pinkies kinda suck, but pretty good. 100-110 WPM.

Im not really sure on which im suppose to pick but i guess im the type who pecks?

I would type most of the time without looking since i've memorised where the keys are.

I guess your definition of peck typing is closest to what I do, though I have preset spots where my hands are at so it's kind of like the asdf jkl; setup as well. My home keys just happen to be shiftasdspace for left and kop[space for right. I type at upwards of 130 WPM on things that require any form of thought, and 170+ on anything mindless like chatting/making smalltalk. Also, take from it what you wish, but I can also type at 75+ with decent accuracy one handed.

I don't actually move my arms that much though.
