Age limit for ToT?
#1
Yep, it is halloween and all of the candy addicted kids have come and gone already. We got like...20 kids, tops. I remember when it used to be around 150, and the streets were full. It seems like a ghost town now. Redface

Anyways, do you guys think there should be an age limit on trick or treating? I figure if they actually put some effort into dressing up and have a joke, then they are alright. I usually don't care for some teenage behavior as long as it isn't extreme/stupid. Tongue

So do you guys think there should be one? A county near my area put a limit of 8th grade or younger. GL enforcing that one, guys. Rolleyes

Yea, I'm bored and just wondering what you guys think of it. Confused

I've only had like 10 kids come around >: waaaaay less then last year.
I dont really think there needs to be an age limit. Like you said, if they put some effort into getting a costume, its all good.

Actually had more kids come by my house this year than we did last year. I don't know how many exactly, but there was definitely more. I don't think an age limit is necessary, but after a certain age it just becomes creepy if you still T-o-T.

Well, yea, seeing some adults in their 20's is kind of...out there. D:

My gf is 16, she still T-o-T's, just for fun. I stopped around 16 though, lol.

I think I quit after...6th grade? Meh, it just wasn't fun anymore for me. I had to lug around 2 younger sisters and a parent though, so that was probably part of it. <_<

I think like a sixth of my high school still does it. :X

I was probably 16 the last time I went trick-or-treating. BUT I WILL NEVER EVER BE TOO OLD FOR COSTUMES AND CANDY. Heart

I don't really think there should be an age limit, but I'd be more likely to hand out condoms to teenage trick-or-treaters than candy. Rolleyes

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]I think ToT-ing during/after college is pushing it

Before that is all good

I look forward to the day where I bring my kids ToT-ing and confiscate most of their candy to eat because "it's poisoned"

I'm ok with trick-or-treaters under my age (unless they've got younger siblings)

Butlike, we only had like, 5 T.o.T's this year, so i had the rest of the chocolate.

(HOLY CRAP, NOW I KNOW WHAT T.O.T MEANS. WE THOUGHT IT WAS MIRA'S NEW PORN)

I think age does not matter unless there in Collage.

I would usually go TOT with my friend. But since he was somewhere else, I didn't go. Last year a mean old lady said I was to old to go TOTCool and wouldn't give me candy, but she gave me candy anyways.:f6:

One time I went TOT with no costume. I brought my costume with me but the others didn't have one. So I didn't use one either. We got candy, but we only went around a col de sack.

When I lived in Seattle, I went TOT a lot and saw lots of treaters. but as I got older, less kids went. (Mostly because of bums and there's not a lot of kids in the U-district anymore.)

Where I live now, there were lots of treaters. But as the years came, less people came. This year I got none. Of course, I live in a drive way so it's hard to see my house.Cool

Some teens are lucky to be short, they look like kids.
