How to do Zakum?

I honestly don't know how to go about fighting Zakum.

What quests are pre-reqs(if any)/where can they be found?

How many people at what level are required?

Tips? Is there a guide somewhere that is updated and useful?

quests have been the same since day one.

If you want like a guide to kill then you class should be know for better help. other than that you want to kill left side first than right side. (i dont like curse arm). and min lvl is 50 to enter but u really should try to party solo this unless u and ur friends are 120+

I will be doing it on my Priest with my friend who is a Dual Blade. Both of us are lvl 87.
I just wanted to know whether or not it was possible. The GameFAQs guide says you need all three warrior classes to debuff him. Is this really necessary?

i wouldn't go at lvl 87 you're going to get owned and miss. Unless a guild or friends are going to kill it for you then , yes you can go

I am extremely well funded, and I couldnt duo on my DB until he was 130

If you and another level 87 try to go to zak, you won't be able to kill one arm in the 50 minutes, even if you managed not to die.

You'll have a 46% missrate and will be going up against arms with twenty to thirty million HP each, that also attack, use debuffs, and will probably OHKO you from touch damage.

If you manage to beat the arms, the 3 bodies have an excess of 360m HP total which 1/1, seal, debuff, attack, cancel weapon and magic attack, and summon quite often.

In other words, you're screwed.
Try getting a 14x or two to come along.
