Shielding Wards and White Scrolls

I know that when you use a Shielding Ward on any piece of equipment while having a White Scroll in your inventory it asks you if you want to use it. If you do want to use it, do you click the Ok then, or does a box come up when you're using the actual scroll?
Just wanted to make sure before I went and used them, little worried it might use a White Scroll when using the Shielding Ward and when using the actual scroll.

To my knowledge its when you use the ward itself so just put your WS in storage. Then take out to use the actual scroll.

Safest is to remove all scrolls from Use before using ward, then after using Ward retrieve and use whatever scroll (and white scroll)

It's probably best to not have WS around when using wards, really.

Well I hammered my Shoulder Pad so I was planning on finishing the last 2 slots with Wards/Whites. If I have leftover Wards (probably will, bought 6 of them) then I'll use them to try to pass a 30% or two on my Glove.
