Maple and keyboard connection loss
#1
So while I have not been on my main much, I have been on some alt accounts for the 1 hour attendance thing as well as tespia currently. I have also recently purchased a new gaming keyboard since my old wireless one was beginning to lose it's reliability of connection (had it about 5 years). New one is G110 something; I can look it up later if need be.

The issue I have been having is that after 30-45 minutes of play (moving around from map to map and killing things, not just idling); the keyboard ups and stops responding to input. The keyboard's "extra" buttons and volume controls still function just fine, but everything on the standard keyboard layout is unresponsive. Unplugging and replugging does nothing, and the only way to fix it is a system restart(EDIT: Ok, replugging it into a different port fixes it temporarily as well). This happens only within maple; all other games I have played run fine for hours on end, and all other programs (ex. Firefox, word) have no effect on this.

I am curious if anyone else is experiencing this problem, and if there would be advice on what to do in this situation.

Vista 64-bit.

P.S. I'm sorta ok if there's no fix for this since this coupled with the fact that the new keyboard layout demolished my traditional playing style for maple gives me more incentive to leave.

Remove the keyboard driver.
The keyboard sounds like it has macro buttons, and HackShield has been rumored to mess with that.
