DFO Password Update Campaign
#21
I'm in the same situation as Amphigory and Dark Link, my e-mail registered is from Bellsouth which was bought out by AT&T. To be honest, I'd rather have been hacked and still had characters to play (hopefully) than being locked out of my account. I guess I could try that email change form. I know what birthday is on there, but I also know it wont match my ID (I could always say i missed the 9).

Well, I sent a ticket requesting for an email change so let's see how much they ask for. PLEASE no security question because: 1) It didnt show me I had one 2) They seriously SHOULDNT expect us to remember that (I chose the best friend one, that can change!). I'll try to exhaust what I can to recover my account, maybe wait it out, and well if all else fails I'll just quit. Spent too much money/time and I've participated in too many one-time events (Visitor, Rings, Perm outfits/pets/pet equips) that I simply refuse to start all over. My money can go into my 3DS and PS3, besides I've only played maple for maybe a total of 3 hrs in tha past 2 weeks. Stunned

Thanks Eos. Conveniently I still had my email, pertaining to that, from over a year ago. Here's hoping it won't take too long to have it changed Frown

lol, same exact thing happened to me. I missed the "2" somehow so it has my Bday as a wrong number.

Please let me know how that works out for you, I'm about to try same but I'm not too sure. I used initials (not even mine) for the registered name.

My acc was made 4 years ago, and it has a fake name and bday. If I ever have to reset my email, I'm screwed... Good thing I've never played DFO.

I was able to change my password without going through my email... did it require you guys to do something else? o_O

Sent a link to my email, and got this error:

I know all of my info is right. I might've missed something that I was supposed to do while I was working at camp this summer. I don't really know anymore. I already came home to a problem on DFO that leaves it nearly unplayable, so if I'm locked out of my account entirely then I won't be surprised.

I already sent a ticket that was ignored and closed.

^This.
Clicking on "Change Password" gives me the pop-up "You must first verify your current email.", which I can't Tongue
