Minecraft mod help...

I've never tried to download mods before cause I'm horrible with computers. Now I followed this guide to install the TooManyItems mod for minecraft. I followed this video guide as well asMod Installation for beginners guide as good as I could. Everything seemed to work fine, it went to the loading screen just fine. But then I just got a black screen and got "not responding" message.

I searched %appdata% again and I noticed something weird... There's now TWO "Roaming" folders, while before there was just one. However the folder creation date seems to be the same for both.

What's the matter?

Black screen means you didn't delete your meta-inf folder in the minecraft.jar. If that's wrong, make sure you're using the proper version of TMI. Just delete the .minecraft folder and then run MC again. It'll redownload and you can mod it properly this time.
