Upgrade question

I have a question on how the Item Enhancement scrolls work. I saw a glove linked in chat today with +123 attack power, it was a 10 star glove, and had used all it's scroll slots.

My question is:
Do item enhancement scrolls increase the effect gained by equipment scrolls?

I understand the fail/break part of the scrolls, thats not new, but if someone could help me understand how the enhancement works that'd be super.

You can only use enhancement scrolls after all slots have been used. They add random stats. They only add atk on weapons (and some say gloves too).

I doubt you saw a 123 att glove, it was most likely a claw.

oh it was a claw... but still, it just adds random stuff?
Anything specific to the slot the gear goes in?
If i were to get some boots and upgrade them what would I likely get (magic)Defense, jump, speed?
