Where are Gold Boxes from from?

I'm in Nova right now...What monsters dropped them?

is it gachapon box or premium gachapon boxes being dropped? Or a new named gachapon box?

100+ Monsters, I believe.

They're not showing up in the monster book entry for any of those mobs that I've seen.

Their pictures in the announcement show the standard gold and premium gold.

I got one from a cold shark when I was looking for Pianus.

Homunculus drop both gold and silver.

Mistaken understanding here; There are two types of monster drops, explicit and scripted.
Explicit are in the actual drop table, manually entered mob by mob.
Scripted are triggered by events. Monster cards for example are scripted. They don't show up in the drop table. The original monster cards that every monster had a chance to drop were as well. Most events like this are as well.

So apparently the monster book only shows explicit drops, not scripted ones, which isn't that surprising really.

Refresh my memory, didn't we have Gold/Silver boxes listed as actual drop items in the old Monster Book?

Event items like these were never shown in the old monster book.
Gold boxes dropped from Crimson Guards who didn't even have a card.

All monsters drop Silver Boxes.
Level 100+ monsters drop Gold Boxes.

Yeaaaaahhh... when I read this thread I was like... wth are you smoking? These boxes drop from all mobs. It's a blanket drop over everything of course it's not gonna show up on monster book.

Are they going to give us Gach Boxes and not have the keys work on them?
And what would be the point of making 700 nx more than a Silver Box if Gold Boxes had the same things?
Gold Boxes give: Timeless, Von Leon, Bloody, and Rising Sun equips (along with a bunch of other pomegranate)
Silver Boxes give: Reverse, Walker, and Crescent Moon equips (along with the same or slightly worse pomegranate)

That makes sense, and also supports my vague impression that sometimes it takes a few kills to "prime" the script before you'll start seeing special drops.

Which sucks when you're trying to get a monster card from Homunscullo, and it's taking days on end to even see one spawn.

What I am trying to ask is if the gold keys work on both of the type of gacha boxes:

Gold boxes

Premium Gold boxes

The reason i ask is because gold boxes are the only ones dropping no?
