They say you learn something new everyday. Today I learned many things. Life is short, you really do need to make the best out of it. The people you may trust the most, may turn out to be your worst enemy, and best of all, Don't listen to what other people have to say, do what you want to do and don't let anyone stop you.
I knew all these before, but today I realized the true meaning of them. There is no one in this world that can tell you to do something you don't want too, tell you who to be with, tell you what not to do, no one. You need to believe in yourself and do what you want.
To start things off, I lost two friends today. I've never lost friends so fast before, and it really does hurt. I've known this girl for about 2 years and she was so cool in the beginning, but she thought she could boss me around and take advantage of my friendship. I had to open the door to her car, I had to go get drinks for her with my own money. Me being a nice friend I did these things, but little did I know I was just being used.
I don't really want to continue to talk about how horrible my day was because I don't think anyone would bother to read it. I want to end this thread off with something that I learned not too long ago today. You can believe in whatever you want to believe in, your hopes may be shot down, your dreams may be crushed, but at least you tried. I know I feel accomplished even if I knew I tried. Don't let anyone tell you differently.
This thread was influenced by one person who should know who she is.
Goodnight Southperry.

And that is why I never bet my life on a relation ship.
I can tell you I had a similiar experience. A friend betrayed me in a storm. It was a hurricane 2004, hurricane. The lil sucker asked me to go outside and check if the roof is ok. I went outside, the roof was damaged, yet me and my friend who was letting me ride out the storm with him (my house was in a flood zone) thought it was funny to lock the door and not let me get in for the next... 3 hours until the storm passed. The little fucker almost got me killed, although not intentional. The tree in the back yard fell and could have broke my neck but I ducked under the table before the branches could crush me. He said intially the winds werre not heavy so there was no way that tree could fall, unfortunately it did. I do not consider him a friend anymore .

Damn, this sounds like a girl in real life that you had feelings for, right? (Most) Highschool girls only care about themselves. Yes, they WILL use you if you show signs of weakness. I believe the term for this is being 'platypus whipped.' Anyway, I'm not trying to be harsh if this is the case, but you just need to brush this off as a lesson to learn. If you want a girl to notice you, you have to act like you don't want her, but don't ignore her completely. It's got to be the right balance.
Basically what I'm saying is don't even bother with Highschool relationships at all. A lot of them never work out, and you'll be much happier.

Sounds like either a Middle-School relationship or a High-School one. As the poster above me said, High-School relationships are uh.. well, a lot of them don't tend to work out well. Most of the girls that I knew in High School were in one way or another, sluts, skanks, etc. Not all, of course, I've known a couple nice and intelligent ones back in the days.
IMO, I think around College is when most people mature up and realize that it's wrong to use another person for their motives. Or in my perspectives anyways, in High School, I thought a lot of the kids that were either in my grades or below were pretty stupid and immature.
In College, I thought people were ordinary human-beings. People accepted me for who I was, I accepted them for who they were. Also, you are right about one thing, don't let anyone tell you who you should go out with, or how you should change yourself in order to fit in. I did back in High School to hang out with some of those people I called friends, in the end, I was completely myself, and I ended up having better friends in the process, as well as having a girlfriend. So that's my advice to you. Have fun with your life, don't let anybody push you around, and being yourself is the best reward in life.

None of this thread was about a relationship, it was about two friendships.
