Rosa de Guadalupe, Cosplay

So, in Mexico we have this hour long show that takes a modern day situation, shows how bad things happen because of it and at the end of the show, people learn stuff and stop doing it because, according to the show, it's evil. It's hilariously awful and wrong and stupid. Also, bad acting.

This is a preview of an episode that will air August 3rd, it has to do with Cosplay:

Two kids go to their High School cosplaying, other kids make fun of them, the girl's mom tells her daughter to stop doing that, a guy is trying to forcibly kiss the girl. I have no idea, but it'll be stupidly funny.

At the end, I expect them to say that Cosplaying is bad, because the girl was beaten and (probably) raped because of it and she'll stop doing it.

Cosplay: Means your parents were bad at raising you..

... Oh and you'll get raped.

Here's a rough translation of the sexual harassment scene:

Boy: You don't listen to me, little japanese girl. I'm going to touch you and you're going to listen to me. Since you don't listen to me when I'm nice, you're going to listen to me the hard way. *attempts to kiss?*

Girl: Nooo! Ahhh!!! *demonic eyes*

The same incentive that makes girls want to go to school with booty shorts that say "DON'T LOOK" in an arc on their ass.

That show.

I just checked out more episodes of that show, they make the most touching story of every day problems, such as:
- I'm Emo
- I'm not Emo
- I'm a Camouflaged Emo
- I like Punk Girls
- My mom uses Facebook

and, of course...
-My mom is the bearded lady

Well, it was hilarious, and they actually defended the cosplayers, so everything went better than expected.

Lol'd how DBZ is called "El Gladiador del Horoscopo". Also, if they could get away with making the male look like that, why didn't they bother making the girl resemble anything close to Sailor Moon?

Also, this screenshot...

I think is cuz maybe she resembles some other anime also I think they named him "El Gladiador del Horoscopo" as a reference to Saint Seiya.

Guys, by the way we are not "Otakus" we are Animes, Mangas and Lolitas.

Yeah. That's all the info a google search got them.

One thing is cosplaying like an anime character for an event, another thing is believing to be said anime character. The problem with that clip is that it makes both seem as the same thing, also making cosplay seem as a mental problem, which is wrong.

Despite of saying this, I'd never cosplay for anything Tongue
