Cant collect herbs

I learned alchemy, I learned herbalism, i have a shovel, and the oil thing. I try press the space bar(yes I checked that the space bar was the harvest key, it is) and it wont let me harvest any herbs. It just spams "You cannot collect it yet" in the chat window. My fatigue is at 0 because i havent been able to harvest any herbs at all.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is or what im doing wrong? I tried unlearning and relearning it and the same thing happens.

Not really sure, but the message (assuming it's correct) leads me to think that your profession level might be too low to harvest it?

Level doesn't matter.
You just have to press the key once while standing next to the object.

Keep re-adjusting your position in front of the herb or move to another plant and try again.

1. Forget about nexonese, what Nexon is trying to say is that you need to press harvesting button, spacebar is the default for that. So for first, go to key settings and check where your harvesting key is (it is same as npc talk key).
2. Press the harvesting button ONCE when you are near the herb/rock. I made the mistake spamming it, which will cancel the harvesting.
3. There's a small cooldown so wait patiently, but don't spam so you don't cancel the harvesting process when the cooldown is over.

Nothing seems to work. I press the space bar, yes space is harvest, i triple checked in keyboard settings. When i press it the animation for harvesting flashes for a milisecond, but then my character goes back to normal and nothing happens. I tried just pressing it once, i tried holding it down, i tried tapping it, same thing happens, animation starts for half a second, then stops and nothing happens.
