Ring combinations and other qns.
#1
I know this might be an overly-asked question but i cant find anything related to it right now. if you do have a link to a thread about a similar discussion, link plz Cool

anyway, ive been planning to get rings for a future character im planning for.

Anyway, ive been thinking of getting,

- Critical ring (hopefully in the chaos warrior event) [2wa, 10% crit]
- Evolving ring II (thats the only ring we get from both events, no evo I, yet, but still hopeful) [7 all stat, 5wa]
- Angelic Blessing [1 all stat, 5wa]

I was thinking about the legend ring from the legend event in kms but im not getting my hopes up for it yet. Its 4 all stat and 3 wa and apparently stacks with the critical ring.

Is there any other better ring (not only stat wise but potential-ability too) that we can make from professions or something ?

Also, is it hard to get 3 characters to level 80 from scratch ? Any guides on training ? Because im also planning for a blood mask and onyx dragon glasses. Or should i get my mules to level 40 first ? What adventurer job can get to 80 fast ? about 3 days or something with 2x and maybe some excessive grinding.

Planning for a mercedes early because i wont be able to play for awhile(about the rest of the year) so yah, i wanna be prepared for chaos and then legend.

EDIT : and no, i will not forsake my angelic blessing. i know its weaker than the dark or white version but both are ALOT harder to get and the effects are just too awesome T_T

sunrise ring acc +5stats all +3 or 4 atk, it comes in set items with 4 other acc which is pretty good
assuming u get all 4 other acc with the ring
- +59stats all
- +12atk
- +21%PVP dmg
gonna take alot of pvping but its worth it

is the crit ring even worth it on a paladin?

A critical ring is always worth it, especially if you have guildies with SE.

5+10+15 = 30% base critical on all classes (with SE), excluding specific class critical buffs, or skills with critical bonus.

The Crit Ring is very much worth it on a Paladin.

With Blast's innate +50% crit rate and its +21% min crit multiplier, Paladins get more out of criticals than most classes.

Depends on your time frame.

If you're taking the Legend Ring into consideration (despite the fact that we won't see it for about half a year), then I will point out the Immortal Hero set (Set #52). Having both of them gives you a bigger bonus than having both Evolving Rings.

So thinking way into the future, the best ring combination would be White Angelic Bless, Sunrise Ring (with the set), Immortal Hero Ring x2?

dragon knights get a lot from it too, 30% crit chance and also an increase in base for all our attacks. but yea, pallies and DrK get a good chunk from it, also, aren't pallies like 54% crit with CO?

EDIT: holy crap, potentialable, +17 attack and like 25 all stat rings? god

Well, if you're including the immortal hero rings, you should also include the Blazing Sun ring, which is an upgrade of sorts to the Rising Sun ring.

Base crit rate doesn't actually improve the damage increase of the crit ring, thanks to marginal differences.

On a class with 5% crit (20-50%): +10% crit rate -> 1.75% damage increase from crit becomes 5.25% damage increase from crit (relative, 3.44% increase in damage due to the ring)
On a class with 55% crit (20-50%): +10% crit rate -> 19.25% damage increase from crit becomes 22.75% damage increase from crit (relative, 2.94% increase in damage due to the ring)

It's classes with extra crit damage that benefit most from the crit rings: Bowmen and DBs obviously (SE/Thorns), but also Paladins, Dark Knights and Gunslingers, since they have min crit damage boosts.

And it's bad for Heroes cause they have a damage nerf to crits, it only does 10~25% extra damage.

The Immortal/Eternal Rings are in a set of two, alone they're All Stats+5 each, with one of them giving 2 atk or matk, but together, they're All Stats +25 and 12atk/matk. You need to use two slots to get the full effect.

Dream Fragments are gotten in Future Hen and Future Ereve, I'm not sure how though. Shards of Chaos come from 140+ monsters, and Philospher's Stones are randomly acquired when disassembling items 110 and higher.

atleast ive got something do and i guess ill have to live with my crit ring, evolving ring I(hopefully), evolving ring II and angelic blessing until i get the rising sun ring. the immortal set will be the least of my priorities.
