A few scientists have already stated that the first person that will live a thousand years has already been born. You should read up on that substance they found in some sea creature (some sort of anemone?) that lives 5 hours but has a gene that allows it to rebirth right afterwards. They used it on a mouse already and it worked; like, it completely reverted an aged mouse back to youth, even physically, its organs were literally like new. One of the only issues with it currently is that it also resets brain function, so all memory and learned behavior is wiped, the biggest issue being it -can- cause cancer to develop under certain conditions. The chemical is called Telomerase.
