Mario = Crush and burn small animals
Kirby = Inhale and consume the bodies of living creatures for strength
Samus = Destroys Aliens with guns for money (Is " bounty hunter" still part of her persona now?)
Legend of Zelda = Eviscerate animals and sometimes humans with swords, arrows, bombs, and a variety of dangerous weapons
Pokemon = Enslave small animals to fight each other for money and bragging rights

Nothing's changed. Retailers are still obliged to check for ID / parental consent before handing any M-rated game to a kid. The law would have prevented such a choice to be available in the first place.

This is why games usually (if not always?) come with ratings on the front or back of the game lables/covers. Isn't that what they were made for? So that any parent can make their own discretionary rulings? Why does the state need to get involved? I'm glad they ruled it out. All we need is more laws and censorship in our country. -sarcasm-
