Being optimistic didn't pay off...hopefully they have made enough "progress" that they know it will be around 6 hours and not just extend it all night...

For the time being, Maintenance extension went from 3pm PDT -> 7:40pm PDT

Well, game was up for a while without any emergency maintenance. It's down now for "server optimization" but I think I can call it at 4:40 being the final time which would make Sera and Dark Link the winners.
