Attempted using acrylic paint on A3 paper. This was the result. :o
Sorry for the quality. :X

Very very nice. You got some incredible results with blending out of acrylics. I stay away from them most because of how fast they dry, which always made it a pain to blend.

Yea, it's pretty annoying on how they get dry after like 10 seconds. I tried adding some water to it, it did help. Gave me like 5 extra seconds and much more homogeneity. :o

Dude, if I were to get a hold of your brain, I'd be all "dude can't handle it;" this is amazing work mister. The only criticism I can think of is that the way the light in the sky is swirling.. it's like it seems upside-down to me.

Actually, it was kinda intentional to make it like that. When i was in the process of making that, when i got to the sky part, i tried to make it plain, then added some curved clouds, then i turned it upside down, and then noticed you could (At least i could :S) see a different scenario from it. This was what i was thinking about when i turned it upside down.

From the sea, a rainy dark sky. From the white lightning on the trees, it could turn into sand. The leaves, when turned upside down, looked like grass of some sort of a plateau, the black part of it, that is supposed to be the shade of the trees, can be seen like a darker base of those plains. The rocks of the base of those islands, when turned, looked to me as tree trunks with their darker brownish leaves. And the wavy sky, when looked in that way, seemed like a calm sea, with it's waves.

While looking at it, in the normal position, it'd look like a waterfall abyss with a wavy, weird sky. But when looking at it upside down, it looked as a completely different scene, a beach.
Actually, i doubt anyone else would see it the same way :X But that's what i saw after turning it upside down, that's the reason for the wavy sky, to turn into a calm, wavy sea. :x

Upside down does look very good too.

Thanks! I just added some water to the white paint and light blue paint that i used to dissolve through the painting, to give it more homogeneity :o
I'm a lot more used to acrylic paints since i can't really stand the scent of oil paint for much time, and the fact they come in such small tubes that aren't really as cheap as they needed to be. :S

Since i tend to use too many colors to give more life to them, i'd probably lose all my money in less than a month. lol
