Slow fire: painful and horrible
High temperature fire (think >1000ºC): Don't feel a thing.

Normal water drowning: feels bad (or people have told me).
Cold water hipothermia: you actually feel numb and warm before you die, pretty much no pain.

Morphine overdose works well for that. I think you can't get anything more peaceful than that.

When it comes blasting you at over 9000 mph/s? I DON'T THINK SO.

Miles per hour per second? That just says that it accelerates really quickly, not much more. It could start accelerating right when it hits you so it's travelling at like 5 mph when it hits. Or you could be a few miles off so it's going at a ridiculous speed when it hits. Please at least use the correct unit.
