MS Paint problems

Has anyone else experienced problems with MS paint before? I've been having... eh... issues with it. I tried drawing with my mouse earlier today, and instead of drawing on the path my mouse was directing it to it drew diagonally below my cursor. It was really odd, like the (x,y) co-ordinates were bugged or something.

I just tried drawing with the straight line tool, and it failed to work. Nothing appeared. Tried exiting and re-opening MS paint several times, but the problem persisted.

Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I tried looking at a picture on deviantart a few minutes ago and it loaded midway with a black line and green pixels dotting it. Is it some form of malware? Is my graphics card dying? Is there any way to check? I'm currently scanning my computer with Kaspersky.

I've had that happen before, it fixes if I reboot my computer. I think it's go something to do with the touchpad.
