Why I love reddit.com/r/gameswap

I only had to pay $10 (shipping costs for 2 games) for a brand new game (TWEWY) and a very good condition other one when I swapped my Okami Den and Radiant Historia. Take that Gamestop.

The only issue is that people might not trade with you if you aren't a Redditor for very long. I have lurked about 3 months, then became a member 3 months ago, so I got pretty lucky they wanted to trade with me. But now I do get a nice little shroom next to my name showing I'm gold. Also, the $10 was for shipping my games. I didn't pay those people anything, just shipping.

It really is just a swap in all sense. Like you and a buddy trading games on the playground, except, the buddy lives somewhere else now. Just gotta pay to ship to the other person.

slightly off-topic but why won't reddit let me register? every username i try says "invalid username" and doesn't go into anymore detail, even in the help page...

I've been having issues trying to send a message for the last 15 mins. It may just be something with their site.

well i just made an account, hopefully I can scrape by with having a day-old account lol. it seems like as long as I send my games first, I shouldn't have a problem..

edit: this did indeed work. I got Team Fortress 2 and Serious Sam HD Gold Pack on Steam for an Xbox 360 copy of Red Dead Redemption.
