i remember checking this out before and i gotta say while it looks really fun, it's one of the only games i've looked at and said "pvp would be my focus"

My word, this looks impressive in both visuals and gameplay. And the loading between areas is almost seemless.

This will be something really worth looking forward to.

Okay being able to jump from here to there, most epic add on to any game ever. Seriously I have never been so impressed.

Is this pay to play or free to play?

If you like the art and design, I recommend playing Magna Carta: Tears of blood for PS2. If this game aint a mmorpg sequel it is at least the spiritual successor.

Doesn't look that interesting as an MMO from just those videos (and honestly, as it's being developed by NCsoft I doubt it'll end up being very spectacular), but I'm extremely impressed by the art direction. The cutscenes were very smooth and the story seems to be an important element of the game. The way they used white and black to distinguish between the good guys and bad guys, the landscapes, the RAIN. The rain is done perfectly; it enhances the mood, the blurring in the distance looks excellent, and a few drops of it even land on the screen. Wow.

It's a PC MMO being released by NCsoft, the big MMO company in Korea (they made Aion and Guild Wars). Aion is subscription based and Guild Wars has always been pay-for-each-new-expansion which amounts to the same thing as a subscription. PC requirements for the game are about average for any current game.

NCsoft has always been great about making their games look great and feel responsive, but their ability to design and run an MMO is pretty awful. Though considering MapleStory's popularity that doesn't say much. I'll say that if you can stand Nexon's constant fuckups you'll actually love NCsoft. Aion is the most popular MMO in Korea atm.

DnF's PvP is played as a competitive game in Korea and Maple's been bleeding players for a very long time.

^That boss video looks terrible. Are there no healing abilities? Does the boss do nothing but slowly move around swinging and choking people? Not a fan of games where everyone just runs around doing their own thing.

I'm not entirely sure, but the boss is actually story oriented so it maybe like that on purpose. What it transforms from is the destroyer class, so it's slow and such.
