gaming miceses

WELP since my deathadder broke i'm in the market for a new gaming mouse. any recommendations? also i guess you could discuss them in general here too.

things i have in mind:

logitech G5
logitech G500
logitech mx518
steelseries xai (a big maybe)

out of the question:

razer deathadder (no more faulty hardware please)
logitech G9/G9x (very bad ergonomics)
microsoft sidewinder xn (n = 3, 5, 6, 8)
any other weird mouse like that one cyborg one

i lean more towards any mouse with a raised midsection since i rest my entire palm on the mouse. also since i mainly play shooting games wireless mice are also out of the question.

I like my Logitech MX518 a lot, though I haven't used any of the others so I can't really recommend it over them. The only complaint I have is that there are no profiles for the macro buttons- that is, every time you want to change them you have to do it manually

I can say that people say that if you play games like RTS or FPS you SHOULD GET a freaking cord mouse, some wireless mouse react a little more slow than cord mouse, and since any bit of delay can screw your play...

Other than that i don't know since i use plain regular mouses
