Any predictions on the price of Dark Impale once it comes out?

So for those of you who dont know dark knights are getting a new skill in chaos called dark impale, there getting this new skill cause honestly in my opinion in 4th job drks sucks! No offense to any dark knight lovers out there. So Now hes my question, this skill looks like a hard to skill to get (unless they start off with it) and they way it attacks it looks expensive So i wanna know! Do you think dark knights will get this skill out having to buy a skill book?, also if you think they dont how much do you think its gonna cost? It's in Jump, not Chaos. Don't expect it until Late Fall/Early Winter.

Through pvp, you can get skill books, so I assume they wouldn't be too difficult, it'd just take a lot of luck. But if you take into consideration that it's not obtained by cash, and everyone who pvp's can get a secret skill book, they shouldn't be too expensive.

my take on this: book is gonna be worth nothing at the beginning, because as locked said, every DRAGON KNIGHT and above gets a free skillbook. so nobody will need the actual skillbook.
then people will train more, new dark knights, who won't have the book, but since books will be obtained by secret mastery books, the price should be pretty meh, just like all the other books (but still somewhat expensive.)

Actually, I've been wondering something for a while. I heard that during Big Bang, Brandish books were changed to Brave Slash books, when Brandish was moved to 3rd job and Brave Slash took Brandish's place in 4th job. Is that right? (Disregard the rest of this post if this is incorrect.)

Did anything similar happen with any of the new Jump skills that Warriors and Mages got? Or does everyone who has mastery books of skills that were removed in Jump basically shafted?

That's correct. The books are still called Brandish 20/30, but they work for Intrepid Slash.

IIRC points and books in Achilles becomes Advanced Final Attack

However dark knights don't have healing, therefore those books turn into impale books. Dunno how that will work though since afaik, there is only one healing book.

Unused Achilles Mastery books will remain unchanged.

Used Achilles for Drks automatically becomes Impale, and for Heros AFA. So yeah, good idea to Pass those dirt cheap Achilles books now I guess, if you don;t get a free one.

If you notice in the Monster Park extraction thread, there are mastery books for Dark Impale and Advanced Final Attack. Fiel has said that he doesn't do changes, well, besides skill changes, only new additions.

Achilles does not become any of the other skills, it's deleted and those skills are added.

It's like, after Chaos for DBs, points in Sudden Raid will be in Blade Fury, but points in Chains won't suddenly be in Phantom Blow, because Sudden Raid is changed to Blade Fury, but Chains is removed and Phantom Blow is added. The difference comes from the fact that Sudden Raid and Blade Fury have the same Skill ID, but Chains and Phantom Blow don't. Same deal with Dark Impale and Advanced Final Attack, they don't share a skill ID with anything we currently have, so any points you add or mastery books you pass now will not contribute to either of these skills.
