New hack - Potential'd dragon/mech equipment?

In the early days of Evans/potential; you could potential the dragon equips with no problems. In that time, it wasn't a hack of any sort. Nexon just goofed then made it impossible to do it shortly afterwards. Don't think many realized you could though. As for mechs, first time of seeing that so that one must be new.

Absolutely false. The first day potential came out for GMS I logged onto my Evan to test this out and neither a 70% nor a 90% would work on my reverse dragon equipment.

Well it does make mechs vastly more OP than before if the items get spread around. An easy additional 15% STR times four.

Also the hackers are enhancing like crazy, I do not know if they simply dupe items non stop and blow up a zillion of em or if it is a new hack out that let em protect their crap. Khaini is gonna feel the consequences of this, either with rollbacks, mass bannings or lame hacker brats running around bragging about their insane DPS.

Tell me about it. If I could move all my Khaini characters and my guildies all in one swipe I'd have be out of the server long ago.

This will never stop as long as there is a real money market for mesos and items... which means it will never stop.

It would require both top-tier programers and GM's to pinpoint the holes/hackers and fix/ban them as soon as one arises just to minimize these incidents. It has got so much worse since BIg Bang that it almost make me wish we hadn't got it.

It's not just khaini, its nearly every server. The younger servers aren't hit as hard as they yield no profit. I ran from bera, too khaini and even then it was in better condition, than bera. To be honest, until nexon grabs their balls, the very error you described will eventually make the entire GMS, and other regions inevitably ran by hackers, and the entire game will be engulfed in radiation poisoning. It's inevitable until they develop a code they are competent with, and have the authority to make quick necessary changes.

I do have the impression that our own brand of arsehat hackers are worse than the regular ones. Gold botting is probably the same in all old servers, but the ones that get under my skin are those that actually play the game too, and use the hacks to either destroy the economy or ruin gameplay for the rest of us. It is hackers fault that I must choose change channel a trillion times before actually getting somewhere for example. They can't even make things cheaper when they dupe (excluding a few items such as WS), if anything stuff gets more expensive. All in all they just ruin my gaming experience.

It's bad in Scania but not nearly as bad. Theres duped items and hacked items but I don't see them as much as you guys are saying in Khaini. I guess safety in numbers eh>.>

Nope, I know Evans who got potential on their dragon equipment so you didn't really prove anything. May of been a different type of dragon armor however.

Indeed. The fun part is that the event for shoe att scrolls never gave out enough scrolls to even come close to this. Especially since you can't even use Vegas on shoe att scrolls. I dare say no shoes similar to this have even the slightest chance to be remotely legit, and that is not even mentioning the stars.

Go to any hacking forum and you'll see many selling topics for huge stacks of shoe attack scrolls. Also, those 27 attack 21% STR shoes have been duped and sold numerous times already T.T

That's what I am saying. The event never gave out enough scrolls for anyone to make a perfect shoe with 10% scrolls, most likely not even in all servers combined. So any shoe like that is made with hacks regardless of how much the owner claims otherwise. Just because someone else duped the scrolls for you does not mean it is legit.

I think it's more on the lines that our server is smaller so it's easier known and easier to see. Though I have no intention of arguing an opinion because you maybe right.

My friend bought a Mech Engine potential'd today, but he said it doesnt give the potential stats as in description.

Well that's good. It still should be fixed though since they're now scamming.

That's a relief then. I guess this means Nexon's code isn't completely incompetent after all (or maybe they just hard coded it to take potential from specific equip slots and got lucky when it came to this). They should still fix this anyway.
