Wooot.. To mark the 10th anniversary of this beloved anime, they are coming out with an OVA on the 21st of July (1st) and they continue until 4 arcs are completed. 4 DVDs... of new Higurashi D:

It's not out. First one comes out July 7th, 2nd comes out Sept. 22, 3rd comes out Nov. 23rd, and the last one comes out Jan. 25.

Are you guys talking about the first live action movie Higurashi no Naku Kori ni Chikai? That's already been out. Looked very corny and I could not take it seriously. The sequel has yet to be released though. Though, I'm very excited for new Higurashi!

I'd say I was excited, but the other ovas weren't that good. Still can't be as much of a trainwreck as umineko though, I guess.
