Mozzila Turbo?

so I was browsing by this website, and it had some google ads at the top.

The first one is download firefox 3 at http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

and the 2nd one is download mozilla turbo at ..............................

so, curious of what mozilla turbo is, i went to that site and it tells you that mozilla turbo makes firefox performs 3x faster and more secure. I'm wondering if I should try it. but according to the web layout i have a feeling that it's fake.

so any1 wanna try it and tell me if it's real or it adds keyloggers onto your computer or sth.

That's not even the Mozilla website. No one is going to try it. That site is going to be dangerous.

Did you seriously download something from a site called "mozzila"? I can guarantee the "turbo" thing isn't true, and you'd better hope there wasn't anything hiding in that "firefox" download.

I checked things out.

It's adware. And lots of it. Don't worry, I'm still safe. (Duh)

As soon as I saw the spelling I knew it was gonna be something that I shouldn't click on =)

Since I'm a loser with no life, I checked this site with some of my tools.

1. Domain is on sale. Who wants it!!!
2. Apparently, that is a searching website. Who knew.
3. Hosts over 130,000 websites on its site. Something tells me they are all porn site.
4. Hosted in Germany. Still trust those guys? Pass
5. Chalk full of advertising for fake Antivirus, etc.
6. Currently has 163 reports of scamming, 201 reports of adware, and a dozen more of unreliable service. I'm surprised that many people tried it out. I'm betting most of them are just tech people who ran a few analysis of the site.
7. I see gay porn on the horizon....

Firefox is not associated with ANYTHING spelled mozzila. Maybe it was next to a real Mozilla Firefox ad, but you need to realize the spelling difference.

Hey no offence, but what makes you think that you are so special that you should be able to ask other people to take a risk like that for you? Just like you don't want to harm your computer, I'm sure none of us do either (Unless you meant somebody that knows how to avoid anything dangerous)

Though I guess Bacon decided to check it out, and was careful, but still... Why would you click anything on a google ads to start with. Ads are best ignored...
