Ani raid glitched sometimes?

Does anyone ever successfully kill Ani, but when you go to collect your rewards, the NPC tells you "You didn't kill Ani, gtfo"
???
And I'm quite sure I did a lot of damage on it as well.

I once afked in Ani's came back the HP bar was at half went out still got a prize.

I once had that happen to me as well, but I didn't check if my I had USE room for the reward (and I didn't even read the chatbox, I just kept pressing NPC chat).

Although it just kicked me to town instead of closing the chat window.

When you have no space in Use it just tells you that and patiently waits for you to make space and talk to it again.

Haven't had that "you didn't kill" pop up except when I really didn't kill (went on a mule and found myself alone).
Maybe it's when you kill it at the very last moment or something?
Or timed out of the map when it still had a bit of HP, you just thought it must have died?

It's only happened to me once so far, about 3min ago actually. I was on my Dark Knight, fully active. Ani died within 5 five minutes, and when I went to collect my reward, he said I was unsuccessful. I did a fair amount of damage, didn't die at all, I had plenty of USE space, and wasn't kicked out. I wish I knew what the cause of this was.

I experienced a different kind of what I believe is a glitch. Boss was rushed to the right side of the screen and it suddenly stopped attacking so the whole run was a lolfest.

At least I believe it's a glitch, Ani doesn't have KB right?

I believe there's a way to cause a glitch so Ani doesn't even appear at all. You won't be able to get the reward though. Anyone else experienced this? I'm gonna log a ticket later.

It has a KB of 200k. I'm able to KB it to the right using Imprint.

I did ani today and for the first time didn't get a box. I know of two things that were different today than before
1. i hit next on the npc chat instead of clicking on the text "i will accept my prize" or w/e the exact words are i dont know.
2. Right when ani died, he summoned. i left the ani map before all the summons were dead i believe.

2. is definitely not it. I always leave the map with umpteen summons alive (I'm a Hero with Enrage, they are invisible to my sword). Today I soloed, so I can be certain no-one killed the summons after I left. Still got my reward normally.

alt+tabbing in the middle of the fight when he's aggro on you does it. I duo/trio'ed quite a lot of anis using that technique in channels 2-19...

That can't be it, or at least not the only factor. I also hit "I will accept my prize", which caused him to say "It seems you haven't killed Ani" and so on.

Also even if you were to click the bottom option, he would just say "Well you've still been a great help" or something along those lines.

You do not get a prize if you use NPC chat to talk to the NPC.
