Quest medal
#1
I'm referring to the KMS medals where you have to do ridiculous things to get them.

A thought occurred to me about the 800 quests medal... does it take into account the repeat quests you do, or does it only count unique quests?

For example, I do Eliminiating Blue Mushmom for the first time, and I get a quest count of 279. I do the quest 5 more times in the next 5-6 days, and the quest count goes up to 284.

It only counts it the first time.

how many quests are there in GMS. we'd have to have 800 to do so, so...

I think we are 300 short or so... better check the "Quest Kings" thread if you want to find out the upper limits of questing xD

I don't think Isaac has passed 450 yet, even if he were to hit 120 and do all the job quests associated. :X

I do believe with a few more World Tour areas, we get a LOT more quests then what we currently have.

The subquests count aswell. I remembered that this Alcaster quest had around 31 parts, so when you finished those 31 parts , it will count as 31 quests.

How does that work for people who've already done quests when it comes out? Does it just know how many parts are in each completed quest?

But how would you know once you've reached 800 quests if it includes subquests? It doesn't tell you how many of those you've completed. :X

The "Quest Medal" is a quest in itself. The Quest for the Quest Medal keeps track of it for you. Even at 55 in KMS I already have 455 parts, so it's not going to be that hard to get :p

Ah, okay. And does it count all quests done when you start it (so, possibly, you could accept and complete the quest in one sitting if you had all of the quests finished) or do you have to get them all done in that time frame? :X

it accepts quests that you completed before the medal quest is started.

Ah, it seems quite a bit easier than I thought then. But nothing I'd ever hope to achieve, I don't do quests. =/
