Quick Update on the Elemental Weapons

Soooo Hime recenty made this post on the Nexon forums:

There have been many threads created about this that you can still find within the first couple of pages of the General forum.

A resolution for the elemental weapons is coming soon as we are in the process of testing it. Thank you.

Take that however you like. I'm just wondering what the fix is if it's taking them this long to test it...

I bet they'll make the 125% bonus work but make it so that a diff element doesn't get reduced damage. Nexon pricks.

I heard Thai MS or Jms got a nerfed version of the bonuses back.

Question: Is there any updates on what will be done for the elemental staffs/wands? Or will they be kept as they currently are?

We took the feedback from players regarding elemental weapons and made changes, but it's being tested. We'll make an official annoucement when we are happy with the balance of the weapons.

At long last.

Elemental weapons will have a 10% attack bonus when used with an attack that has the same elemental attribute, and a 5% attack reduction when used with an attack that has a conflicting elemental attribute.

The bonus is for both attributes on the weapon.

I am so happy right now. Not having to replace my fire staff with a poison one will save me a lot of money. And it doesn't destroy my motivation. ^^

Lol trusting Hime? Extractions prove her wrong yet again. 25% reduction is there, same as before, and the new deal is 10% to main, 5% to secondary. Break that piggybank!

Yea, I think that this fix is the best anyone could have hoped for really. I do think that the speed should have been lowered, because KMS did build BaM's with slow staves in mind, but the OP-ness of them kind of pales in comparison to WHs and Mechs anyway.

Now I can laugh at all my friends who bought a weapon for their opposite element :3
