So with the protests in Egypt,Yemen,Tunisia,Jordan and Syria we might finaly see some democracy in the middle east spread past Israel.
now we don't need to get into detail on how real of a "democracy" they'd have. but even the watered down paper thin one we have in the U.S and other first world nations is ALOT better then the flat out in your face dictatorships/monarchies we have now.
as a resident and citizen of Israel the prospect of this is a double edged sword. suppose they don't like Israel, maybe because Israel has been supporting Mubarak for years now since he's not going to war with us. either way Israel has a horrible reputation.
as a supporter of democracy I'm happy , I love the smell of revolution in the morning. maybe the silly tools used as ad placement machines for buissness will be their undoing in the future as we forge a completely open society *slaps self back into reality* okay, well maybe I'm dreaming abit.
as a U.S citizen I'm happy because the more stable that region becomes the harder it is to start BS wars there for the top 1% to profiteer from. p.s CUT THE DAMN MILITARY BUDGET BY 75% KTHX!
so what are your thoughts on these developments?
