Tactics Ogre: LUCT releases on feb 15th, anyone else picking this one up ?

I would but I've got Dragon Quest VI on the 14th and probably won't have as much time for games with work and school. I desperately need to buy it at some point though because I'm a huge Matsuno fan and I never got a chance to play it on the playstation... not that I would've really grasped it at 10 years old.

I did find Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen once as a kid and begged my dad to get it, thinking it would be amazing. Least fun game ever.

Why do all of SE's videos always have that same lame type of animation at the beginning. I could tell it was their video before they announced SE on it haha.

Is that the new DQ coming out on DS or am I missing something? Also, I'm actually fairly new to the Ogre Battle series. I played one that was on the GBA forever ago, a friend lent it to me in middle school. Never played it, but that was my first exposure to 'tactics' games. Originaly when this was announced I thought it was a psp remake, but turns out its part of the same story line but a different part entirely. Made me that much more excited. To top it off, amazon and gamestop had a promo going where if you preordered you got the 22 deck of tarot cards they reference in the game. All nice and neatly printed. Idc about tarot, but can't wait for my deck to get here <3

Dragon Quest VI is a new game coming to the DS, yes. It was never released outside of Japan on the SNES so it's one I CAN'T miss. Even though I wouldn't anyway because I love DQ.

Ogre Battle on the SNES was fucking terrible. The GBA tactics ogre was great though.

The only reason I'm familiar with March of the Black Queen is because I saw it at GameStop once and I was going "Wait, aren't those both songs by Queen?" (Yes, they are.)

Actually, almost everything in March of the Black Queen is based off Queen songs, mostly from the Queen II album.


But yeah, may check it out, although I generally suck at tactics games.

lol I saw that on wikipedia when I was looking into the tactics ogre series, pretty win imo. Aww @ the sucking, takes a bit of time to adjust to tactics, lots of fails before finally getting the system down. But much love on this end, I personally feel tactics games allow for way more creativity in battles than typical (j)rpgs.
