Yeah my room mate was surprised by that too (its his ps3), he picked up the collectors addition set and it came with a bunch of stuff on top of it. Its my first time playing the game, but we had a blast.

Yeah, the game auto imports your pod (I think thats what it was) plus the outfits and other things you had from LBP1.

This is what having extra controllers is for as well!
I've done some 4x stuff in LBP1 by myself, it's just tricky controlling all 4 lol

This is why I hated LBP1 and why I probably won't buy LBP2. My cousin is going to lend me his copy next month though. LBP is too multiplayer dependent.

NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: MAKE A CLEAR PARTITION BETWEEN SINGLE PLAYER AND MULTIPLAYER. I'm okay with multiplayer if I'm not FORCED to screw with it. It also bugs me how many games make their pineappleing multiplayer trophies part of the platinum requirements. GIVE ME A PLATINUM FOR MY SINGLE PLAYER WORK. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DEPEND ON BONEHEADS ACROSS THE WORLD.

Also why I love Assassin's Creed multiplayer. It's all about how good you are; no one else.

??? PS3 controllers are $60 a pop before taxes. How can you justify having ~$280 worth of controllers?

I'm going to guess that he plays with people enough to justify having them normally. Otherwise, yeah, just as confused.

And... got it a few days back; my sister and I finally have time to play together now, so we're about to start... :3

If you shop around there are plenty of deals. I know they have a LBP1 + controller bundle for 50~60, as well as teh same bundle for GoW3 and some other games. Plus if you really keep your eyes open, you can find controllers down to as much as 40 bucks (new and official ofc)...

But really does it matter? lol he has 4 controllers, through whatever means, justified or not. I'm the same way with my 360.

OT: Weekend + minimal hw + LBP2 group = win.

*Cough*

2 sisters + myself = 3 players, and that's not counting possible friends who come over to play as well lol

Oh, come on, it's not such a big deal, you don't HAVE to play the multiplayer parts. And this time around, there's no "no more sackboys" switch at the beginning, so you can get to the multiplayer part by yourself and then connect the other controllers, do the multiplayer part, and disconnect the controllers. Also, that reason for not buying such an excellent game is stupid.

Ignorant response. If you knew anything about me then you'd understand why this makes the game unplayable for me.

Does anyone on SP make levels for LBP? I kind of want to make one but the creation mode is so intimidating. I've gone through most of the tutorials but there's just so... much... everything.

Anyone have tips?
