Im sorry guys, but imma have to quit maple.
Unfortunately that bastard caused a virus on my computer.
Apparently everytime I clicked it, my keyboard stops working, and it takes mad long to fix it.
So ill have to quit maple, for good until I get my own laptop.
Though once I quit, I might not come back, and I dont want another virus!

So you guys are all awesome, but ill miss you ingame.
Ill stay on the forums of course, but no more maple for me

You serious you can't remove the virus or something? Or reformat? Or system restore?

System restore rarely fixes viruses (archaic?)... But yeah, don't give up! Reformat or die trying.

Make a thread in tech support about it, some pretty smart people roam that forum, looking to help people.

i havent touched ms in like 2 weeks prior to patch v60 so it seems strange that ms installed a virus on your comp. so thats what this is about?

lol, first nexon tries to silence customers who post complaining about their crappy service, now they're threatening their customers' computers.

anyway, with your computer problem, you can reformat if you have your things saved elsewhere.

i dont think it was nexon...

probably someone else who wants you to quit MS, and wants to ruin nexon so places it in the folder.

Avast is fo shiz. I pause the standard shield to play Maple though, and I have to remember to turn it on.

Have you removed the virus and reinstalled Maple? It should work. You dont have to quit.

how can you DL and play MS if you can't download anything else? LOL
It's the most unusual thing to me, but in my case, Avast! picked up MS.exe as a virus and had some problems for a while. But it's okay now...

Seriously though, reinstall windows.

Ok well turns out, my computer just had a weird update. I guess just launching MS further enabled, that weird update.

If it is NOT truly a virus, then the problem is with Gameguard and the way it hooks into the system ....

If you have an account without a password that you can log on to windows to fix it with, its pain in neck but wrks...

Delete the usb port that the keyboard is hooked to.
Reboot
Use the mouse to log you in
Let windows discover the port and re-install the drivers for the port/keyboard
You may have to reboot again after that

P.S: For the time being, I found life without maple was fine.
Seems that the game got boring for me, but Ill still play, for friends!
