Obscene amounts of lag starting from this morning.

And no, this isn't the "oh Kerning City and Henesys near gaga is getting too slow" kind of lag.
This is the horrendous lag spurt you see out of private servers. Only it's in GMS.

Here I was, yesterday just browsing the fm on my NW, not once did I run into this ridiculous lag from hell. I bought an Overswing 20 yesterday for 15m, so today I thought I would try my hand at grinding my Aran again, at the horrid 35%/hr at the captain mini-dungeon.

3 minutes in, the combo counter dies while I'm bashing their faces in and the damage stops appearing. So, after I got on the rope and it went away, I continued. Then, it happened again, and out of frustration, I bashed the mobs' faces in during the entire 1 minute lag segment. The combo came all at once and I disconnected.

So I try again. 5 minutes in, I feel like going back to the platform with the portal to stay safe while I open up Firefox and quickly look up something, but before I even reach the stupid platform, the damned lag starts again. So I get near the portal for safety, and while Firefox is opening, maple freaking disconnects again. I didn't even hit anything that time!

So, what in the hell is this?
and it's not my internet because everything is running fine and the modem is having no problems.

No it's your fault. I'm not lagging.

Actually, giving it a shot again a few minutes ago, I find that the lag is gone.

but damn near everyone else I run into is having the same lag problems I had this morning. Nexon did something bad during that patch, I can feel it.

I was getting assloads of lag just now on Zenith.
