Your favorite day in MapleStory..
#21
Mine would obviously be finding out who the Puppeteer was when Aran came out (when CoK came out, I didn't bother doing the quests so I didn't understand why people kept asking for the password... :v ). My obsession continues to this day... .o.

Also, when I got my first character ever to lvl 120 and 4th job. Getting Beholder at last was the reason I made a spearman in the first place. BEHOLDER!! ^^

The day CWKPQ came out was pretty great. Saw a lot of familiar names crowding to get in the PQ, and it was pretty crazy because no one had any idea how to beat it and we weren't sure what to expect. I don't even like CWKPQ, it was just a lot of fun with all the chaos going on.

The day Windia got the first known kill of Pink Bean in GMS...

Ludi release was the best. LPQ all day. And then abandoning the party whenever I'd level up just to kill myself at Thanatos/GateKeeper.

The night before getting the Zenith bandana I got to ghost pq with some cool people who invited me into their guild. We pq'd all night and then the next day we encouraged each other while everyone finished getting their 'danas. That was awesome. I had to take a break after that and when I came back, those people had dropped out of the guild and I didn't like who was left so i ended up dropping too. But hose few hours were the best ever.

The day i took my shadower (then lv 110) to buy her MoN. Was so exciting to see some of the Khaini 'pros' all coming together to organize and get the run going, two/three of which being my friends, working for ME lol, and i got to sit around and follow everyone, feeling like a ViP.

The closest i had ever been to what i believed was the 'heart' of the server community.and not all the KSing morons and ego spitters i had been used to seeing up till that point.

Couple good days:

The day 3rd job came. I was 69 and grinded hardcore so i could advance that day.
The day I earned my first Zak hat in January 2007.
The day 4th job came, and being the first Hero in Bera to get Adv. Combo that day.
Finally passing all the mastery books for my main skills, and being the first Axe user to solo Zakum shortly after.
The day CWKPQ came, and earning a MoN before all the channels glitched out.
Getting my 2nd character (Corsair) to 4th job.
Finishing off 2 critical adventurer rings shortly before the time limit was up.
The day potentials came.
The day Big Bang came.

This, definitely. It's the single event, in my opinion, that separates all of what "old MapleStory" was and what "new MapleStory" is, as it was the first of the past few years of crazy, game-changing patches throwing GMS in every random direction until settling down with Big Bang. It's definitely arguable that Potentials/Big Bang was the third major patch section, and thus there are three definitive "ages" of GMS (Beta -> January 2008, January 2008 -> August 2010, August 2010 -> ?), but I honestly believe there are just two, because the game hasn't looked so different since the 4th Job/Leafre patch.

This as well, definitely. Khaini's channels were glitched up immediately, so one of my fondest memories with this patch was logging on the morning after the patch with a bunch of other top Khanians(Sunday morning for North America), right after an emergency SC, to make sure we could get MoNs before randoms glitched up the channels again. We ran 2-3 times before everything was glitched, and I ended up getting the 11 att MoN I'm still using. It was so fun then, too, because the CWKPQ bosses were actually a challenge, and Meteo pinning the bottom three in a corner with ExtremeBeast is something I'll never forget.

Otherwise, I had such a blast in MapleStory summer 2009, when I went from 170-200 before starting college, contributed to tons of HT runs (which were the BEST since everyone at the time knew each other and we'd all be in massive vent/Skype channels/calls), and just general being on Skype/vent with friends 90% of the time I was logged on.

Of course there are plenty more to list if I had time to remember them all, but the only other one that comes to mind at the moment would be becoming the first LOLFP in GMS to solo Zakum, back in March 2009. Getting spammed in all chats, including whispers, and having 4-5 smegas about it was a pretty neat way to finish a 4 hour endurance test.

My favorite day was when the gm left his account info up and minutes later was logged into by echo. Probably one of the
best days that I can remember at this moment.
