Details on how to change your pass (request)

I have searched the board but found no actual fool (full?) fool-proof guide on how to change your pass and not f**k it up so you need to enter 24sfg4ywnfh every time you log on. can anyone please walk me through a pass change? in detail please.

go to edit acount info under your avatar in the nexon site, then put your last name Bday and answer to 1 of your secret questions. after that it takes you to a page where you can change the pass.

thank you, im trying it now. on another note, i DONT need to verify with email anymore right? since last time i changed my pass (pre-nexon best friend fiasco) i didnt verify it and it worked, so, no verify right? even though on the site it says "VERIFIED"

EDIT: both of my secret questions are the same answer. and it says the info does not match. NOW WHAT -_- F**k nexon

you dont need to verify it again. thats a one time thing. if you do the random pass or pinreset they send it to your e-mail though so dont do that unless you have access to the e-mail account. i know why i say this >_>

Ah, for Maplestory.

You don't need to verify. I just tried it recently too. In the past you needed to verify, though, and that took a long time.

thank you both, but i know for a fact both my secret questions are the same, and it says it doesnt match, HOWEVER, if anyone knows the old secret questions, i may remember if one was different... so.. if anyone knows the old ones, i might be able to not screw up... x_x;;....

if you dont know the secret questions, which was my problem >_< you have to do a random pass request (what i did) however make sure you know what email you used (i didnt) its easy to check if you dont know, go to charge nexon cash and pay by cash. it puts the email you sed there. i didnt really know till it was too late for me.

thats how you change to a pass you want. if you dont know secret questions you cant do it.

oh ok. but i do know the questions (sorry im freaking out here), and theyre both the same! but it doesnt work. do you remember any of the old selectable questions? i may remember if one was different. thats just stupid that nexon would blatently put everyones account in danger. but yeah, old questions? >__<;;;; and again THANK YOU for your help.

I don't think those that don't have their SQ1 can even get a random password now. It's asking for the SQ1 when I go to "Find P/W."

I think Nexon must've screwed up the secret passwords thing. Back in beta and early global, we had to enter two secret answers with a list of questions to select from, and now, you only have to enter one when registering. I know exactly what I entered when I registered my account for both questions, and neither works. I haven't heard of anyone successfully getting through the secret question check either.

Although I don't remember EXACTLY, I do know that I chose one answer for like Where were you born or w/e. When they changed it, I had no clue. I don't think my account even has one. ._.
