OK, I had just gotten a Robo, and evolved it. I had taken all equipment off both pets while trying to get past a problem where Garnox wouldn't complete the evolution. While putting the equipment back on, at first I had both pets out (Robo and Penguin) and Robo was set as the boss pet. Every time, it would ask me which pet to put the item on, so I put the Robo away to make things faster. (I want the Penguin to be the boss, because Robos won't loot for you while they're doing their show-off attack animations... which they do all the time!)
Well, things seemed to be going well until I got all the equipment on and went out to attack some weak monsters, to test things out. A coin dropped and neither pet went over to it!
Now, I had Wing Boots and Binoculars equipped (supposedly), so I was expecting the Penguin to run over and grab the loot. Nope. I checked the equipment and it showed the boots on my Penguin, yet they weren't working, probably because the Binoculars were on the Robo. (Oops.)
Trying to get everything where it should be, I removed things from one pet and tried to put them on the other. The Wing Boots were never available to remove, however! Even when Penguin was boss, the equipment tab for it did not show the boots. Pet info on my character, however, showed the Wing Boots still on the Penguin.
In another attempt to get them back, I decided to move the Penguin to my Cash Shop inventory to see what would happen. I was expecting the boots to either transfer to the Robo or move to my equipment inventory. Instead, they disappeared.
That's right, the Wing Boots are not on my pet(s), they are not in my inventory, and they are not in Cash Shop storage.
I know they didn't expire while I was messing around, because I have at least a month left on the Binoculars and I got them at the same time.
Sure, it's only $1.80 (US) lost, but the game should not allow real-money items to simply vanish, so I'm a bit annoyed. I opened a ticket about this, and I'm hoping they will pay some attention to it because it involves the Cash Shop.
Has anyone else had this happen? Did you log a ticket, and if so what sort of response did you get?
