Summons and their new damage formula

For some reason I've been noticing unstable damage for my hawk summon.

It's maxed so it's damage is 250% of my own damage range.

That being said with my current damage range being 12880 ~ 15130, it should hit 250% of both right?

But I don't, as there have been times where hawk hits as low as 4k and as high as 36k.

My question is, does bow mastery have any effect on summons? Because that's a very big gap in damage.

I see Phoenix damage effect, not hawk's.

It appears it does not. I've done 9k - 46k with hawk with a bow. 1k - 4k when my range was 4xx - 22xx with lollipop.
